The KÁVA Cultural Foundation in co-operation with KRÉTAKÖR Theater Company, and with the assistance of sociologists, decided to adapt the “folk theater” developed by the Brazilian director Augusto Boal in two Hungarian small settlements (Ároktõ and Szomolya) in this year. The performances tried to reflect the problems of the local community, mainly to the roma-non roma conflict in a creative manner and also to give a new role to the viewers, for being able to reflect on the stories and phenomena presented by the theater. This film shows the events in Ároktõ, from the first steps of realization through the performances to their aftermath.
